Night Star Express: Change in shareholder structure
Unna/Neu-Ulm. January 10, 2019. The joint venture Night Star Express Hellmann & Honold GmbH & Co. KG takes over the overnight express business of Eiltrans Nachtverteilerservice GmbH. The purchase agreement was signed by the representatives of the joint venture and Eiltrans Nachtverteilerservice GmbH on October 23, 2018 in Neu-Ulm, following which, the owner of Eiltrans Nachtverteilerservice GmbH, Norbert Rödel, retired.
Founded in 2006, the joint venture, now has two further locations, Malsch (Karlsruhe) and Frankfurt, from where, large parts of southwest Germany, Luxembourg and the neighboring Alsace are served by overnight express in addition to the Nuremberg region, where night express services are offered within the NSE network . As part of the purchase by the joint venture, the new franchisee will take over all employees at the Malsch and Frankfurt locations, so that operations will continue seamlessly and business relations with all customers and system partners will proceed as before.
"With the seamless takeover of Eiltrans Nachtverteilservice GmbH`s overnight express business at the beginning of the new year by the joint venture founded by two Night Star Express shareholders, we have found an optimal solution internally to continue offering our customers a comprehensive "First Class" overnight express service in a highly efficient network”, explains Managing Director of the Night Star Express, Matthias Hohmann .
"Hellmann and Honold are both founding members of the Night Star Express. I am delighted that as a joint venture we have now taken over a further area together. Overnight express deliveries are on an expansion course, in which we will participate together within the network. Night express services are in particularly high demand in the southwest conurbation, which is heavily influenced by the automotive industry and mechanical engineering," says Wilfried Hesselmann, Managing Director of the Night Star Express joint venture Hellmann & Honold GmbH & Co. KG.
"As long-standing members of Night Star Express, Hellmann and Honold bring over 25 years of experience in the overnight express business to the joint venture, so that we can continue Eiltrans’ good business relations harmoniously ," emphasizes Thomas Bauer, Managing Director of the joint venture Night Star Express Hellmann & Honold GmbH & Co. KG.
